OUR STORY

We’re Staci and Stephanie—yes, straight out of the ‘80s—and we met like many modern mom-friendships do: waving from our cars in the kindergarten pickup line. That casual “Hey” turned into a sisterhood.

Not long after, life hit hard. We both lost our moms to cancer within months of each other. We were their caregivers until the very end, and just as we began to catch our breath, Covid rolled in. Quarantine turned us into homeschool teachers, short-order cooks, life coaches, and unofficial camp counselors. (We also baked an absurd amount of banana bread. Like… a lot.)

Somewhere between the math lessons and the meltdowns, something clicked. We realized women everywhere were doing what women always do—taking care of everyone else and forgetting themselves. No breaks, no applause, just showing up every day and holding it all together with dry shampoo and a prayer.

That’s when Narrative was born. We wanted to make jewelry that felt like a little trophy for the everyday heroics of motherhood. Pieces you wear every day. Pieces that mean something.
